Title: VPmake problem
Post by: Scooby_Doo on January 19, 2009, 04:56:22 am
Has anyone encountered this issue with vpmake?

I choose the source folder and dest filename.  VPmake then sits at "data\hud" folder and basically stalls out.  Ctrl-break kills it and when I open the vp files I've got basically an ASCII code folder name that contains another folder with the same name recursively.  The longer I let vpmake run the more recursive it gets, ( a couple seconds nets about two dozen of these folders). "All files" indicates theres nothing there.

Did you hit the "add source" button?

VPmake is a command-line tool to create *.VP files.

Which program were you referring to peterv?  I'll have to use that for this vp file I think.

Vpmage? (the one with the issues of still running after you close it so you have to use task manager to kill the process)

why don't you try vpedit (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=55898.0;attach=8640)?? It works just fine for me and it's really easy to use.

I've tried version 0.17 and no big troubles so far.
