Ok Ive downloaded pcs 2.0.3 and ive also got the .exe from spicious sig. and the colladaDOM.dll. I installed pcs2.0.3 then I replaces the original pcs2.exe with spicious' one then all the .dll's that came with spicious' exe i moved to the POFCS2 root install folder, I also moved LibcolladaDOM.dll there aswell. And i installed vc2008 runtime.
Now the programme loads fine, but whenever i try to open a POF model ive extracted form freespace 2 VP, the programme crashes with a memory cannot be read error.
What am i doing wrong. I really need this to work.
Thanks in advance.

The PCS2 with collada support is currently broken for actually opening POFs.
Grab an older version from the PCS2 thread.
-
Em, what do you mean, install collada support on 2.0.2. Or what?
-
No, download an older version from here to use as an actual POF editor:
http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,53835.0.html
And use the Collada one for DAE->POF only.

Ok, I tried loading a collada file into the collada POF but it just shows up as a blank screen. On the editor. I cant see the model at all.

HELP what am I doing wrong
For a start, this is the wrong forum (isn't it? :nervous: ) I'm sure there is a support forum or a modding forum this should be in, and secondly, that signature is definately too long! :P

Yes. There indeed is a Modding board. And interestingly, Krallis has posted there before but still decided to start his three (3) PCS2-related threads on General FreeSpace Discussion recently.
and secondly, that signature is definately too long! :P
Agreed. Well, too high anyway. We advise you to cut your signature down or we'll be forced to report this incident to an administrator who will then proceed to liquidate the signature altogether.

Well I didnt know what forum to put it in. Its not really modding, because its the tools im having trouble with, and I couldnt find a support forum.

Consider it found. :p

This does not count as a problem installing and/or running FreeSpace, FreeSpace 2 or FreeSpace Open. This is totally modding, so moved.
