Two days ago, Windows Live Messenger suddenly stopped working. In a desperate attempt to fix it, I installed Windows 7. I attempted to enter my password into Windows Live Messenger only to realise, in horror, that microsoft had limited passwords to 16 characters. Silently.
My password is 17 characters long.
(I've since changed it)

You installed an entirely new operating system to fix your messaging program?
-
A beta?!?! :shaking:
-
msn suxx. :[
-
Use Trillian or Pidgin.
-
...or Adium, since Cerulean are still working on Astra.
-
aMSN.
-
Pidgin is more usefull when it comes to combining networks (MSN+AIM). aMSN, I have never tried.
-
Pidgin is super annoying. And ugly.
-
Just like your mom! Oh snap!
-
My mum is way more annoying. I'd need a side-by-side type thing to determine which is uglier though.

Finally someone else who knows about Trillian. It is good. MSN sucks.
And yeah, a new OS for MSN? Thats over the top..

So maybe this thread is more appropriately titled "Epic blackhole Failure"

QFT.
....just, WHY! That's such a huge waste of time!
-
So, here's a coda: Never trust a beta operating system with your electronic life.
