Title: Probably an idiotic question but...

How do I extract textures from FS2 pofs?

(I know, there's probably a link on the bottom of the page that leads to a tutorial on this but I can't find it).

Thanks  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

They're not in the POFs.  They're in the "data/maps" folder in sparky_fs2.vp.

Use POFview to see what the names of the textures are, then just extract them out of the forementioned VP. Edit and save to Data/maps, and you're set.

Oh! I was wondering about that, When I used pof2cob, the proggie said it couldn't extract the texs with the ship. I kinda assumed from this that the texs were integrated into the pof.

Ah well another learning experience. Thanks guys.   (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
