After "The Light Of Antares", Mission 4's directive "Ignore Shivan Bombers" - now its successor from "WotW: The Lost Generation"

Well, it could be reasonable, if for example, you are flying fighters or you want to capture that Ravana.
-
you are flying fighters
right --- I just obscured to the shield gauge, so you cannot see what fighter
you want to capture that Ravana.
wrong
maybe it helps to know what jumpnode that is:
Nebula-Gamma Draconis
-
so its the retreat after Sath number 2?
-
Which campaign is that?

Workings of the Warp: The Lost Generation.

Hence why I said 'for example'. :p I didn't think they'd be capturing Ravanas in WotW.
-
It'll be taken care of by someone else, but your goal is to protect the Typhon?
-
Weeeeeeeeeeeell... what's so unbelievable in it? It's something like "Ignore the Sathanas, Orff!"
-
Meretseger? That name is familiar...both in INFR1 and in Steadfast... ;)

Where does it say Meretseger? :wtf:

Open the VP file... :p

I know the Apis is the Meretseger.
What I meant is, where is it in this thread?

In the screenshot - the Escort List goes:
Malevolence
Meretseger
-
Ah. Makes sense then.
-
Why is the distance display scrambled?
-
Who knows?
Well, if the Ravana's out of beam range and it isn't doing anything, escorting the friendly destroyer from bombers is a much higher priority than engaging a Ravana 20 clicks out. Hence the "pls ingore for now".
-
I find that directive perfectly believeable.
-
Now...if it were roasting the Meretseger...that'd be harder to believe.
-
Directives i can't believe...Just about every directive from the JAD trilogy

Any of you played Rain or Ribos 4? It has the greatest directive in the world in the mission where you have to blow up a convoy with a single shot.
