Title: Small issue with my mouse

I just reinstalled FS2 Open with the latest nightly build and 3.6.10 media VPs and everything runs perfectly... until I go to use my mouse. At which point my FPS drops to 15. I've tested in an empty map with no skybox or nebula, it definitely gets choppy when I use my mouse.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I just tested with the build I used prior to my hard drive wipe. The problem is still there, which means I am utterly confused.
