There is no medals at all?
This is only detail i know, but that particual one makes me happy :]

It couldn't be done in those days as I believe it would crash none english versions of FS2 that were running the mod.

My version is Polish and i recive medal on Freespace2 (mediavps,with latest nightly build of fsopen) original campaign, FSport,Pandora Box and im not sure about ST:Reborn but yes i think.
In my case i must  edit mv_strings-lcl.tbm   and add line

#end
So maybe problem is with the proper award slots or names of medals dunno...

Yes, as by 'in those days' I was referring to FS2 retail over 8 years ago :)
