Title: SCP 3.6.10 final... release date?
Post by: rbxplayer on March 16, 2009, 08:56:02 am
I know developers hate these kind of questions LOL

However, just to satisfy my curiousity,

1. Is the SCP dev roadmap up to date?
2. Can a possible release date be set... eg 2009 or 2010?

I asked the same question on the MVPs in the FSU forum, let's see who will backlash first... ;)

Just joking... LOL

It's been mentioned a few times lately that they're getting close to release. Patience!

The overall roadmap is probably a bit out of date.  My hope is that we can move to a more rapid release cycle, the roadmap might be considered more a set of milestones at this point, and there's no guarantee they'll be achieved in the order listed currently.  Some features are already 90% done and others have not had much work done on them at all.  We should be very close to a 3.6.10 RC though, we're just ironing out some issues in the background right now.  Soon (TM)

I'm going to have to commit my packet changes at some point in the near future. When I do that it will break multiplayer compatibility with earlier builds.

And be a huge sign that 3.6.10 is coming soon since I'm only doing that once.
