Title: And the Silence was....confusing.
Post by: Scorpius on March 24, 2009, 02:04:03 pm
I'm really surprised that I have not found one single discussion about the finale to BSG on this forum. Was everyone here just so nonplussed about the whole thing that the silence is equivalent to one gigantic "meh"?

I know its a few days overdue but I was wondering what everyone thought of the finale.  I personally felt that they didn't sell the importance of Hera enough to justify risking so many lives.  All the Cylons kept saying is that Hera is "the shape of things to come" and it wasn't until the very end that they explain her importance.  But how were the characters supposed to know that?

Secondly, I felt very disappointed about Starbuck's resolution.  As well as Adama's and the Chief's.   And don't even get me started about the resolution of the fleet as a whole!

Thoughts?

Oh fiddlesticks!

To be fair though if Diaspora wasn't around you would reasonable to expect a thread in GD.

Ha okay first, I've been using this name since before Farscape (Its a reference to my zodiac sign which I could care less about. It just sounded good.)  Second

Thank you but I still don't understand why the mod page is the place to discuss the show despite the fact they are related.

And that's all I have to say about that.

I think it's just a relevance thing, it'd be like any B5 news would probably appear first in the Babylon Project pages etc, but yeah, not surprised you missed it to be honest.
