Earth Defense is hiring!
What is Earth Defense? Earth Defense (http://www.game-warden.com/earthdefence/index.php) (Main Thread (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,58470.0.html)) is a large mod hosted on Game Warden. We've got a large team of people working on our mod already, but we're still in desperate need of the following:
- FREDders
The most important part of any campaign is, of course, the campaign itself. We're always in need of dedicated, high-quality FREDders and mission designers to bring the Earth Defense universe to life. Handling of SEXPs and variables is preferred here. Please submit a trial mission to Snail (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=4557) or Shiv (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=2852) to be evaluated. - UVMapper
As part of the full conversion process from a bare model to a fully-fledged in-game ship, UVMapping the model for texturing is a fundamental part. If you have any skills in unwrapping models, we'll be glad to have you on the team! - Texturer
We're always on the lookout for people who can texture our ships and bring them to life. If you can make diffuse maps, shinemaps, glowmaps and normal maps, join our ranks as a texturer! - Modeller
At ED we place a high importance on the quality of our ships - If you've got a skill in 3D modelling, please do apply! We're still in need of good ship models to populate our missions. If high-poly shipbuilding is your thing, we want you! - Model Converter
We also need someone who can convert the 3D models into .pof files for use in-game. Glowpoints, paths, subsystems and model info are all just as important as a large polycount. - Effects Designer
We also need someone who can make the ED universe pretty. Animated effects and 2D art are really needed in any mod. We're of course aiming for MediaVP quality - So if your passion is effects design, don't hesitate, apply nao!
When applying, please give some indication of your experience and skill, such as any previous work you may have done.

I can convert models from .COB to .POF and .DAE to .POF ,though I have no experience with .DAE .
It will be best if they will have no errors and have all model un-editable data in place.
And I can do everything PCS2 can do, so count on me with turret points ,subsystems ,pathes and everything like that.
I can change textures if model is tile mapped.
As for experience I have rescaled few models ,converted one from modeldump (though mesh was buggy ,so I have abandoned it) and edited POF data on countless. Even more I have retextured.
Because some models in your demo are outdated i made a path including for example HTL Galaxy ,and I will soon release it on FSMods.
As for FREDing I'm haven't much to offer ,I'm rather good at tricks and become good friend of
every-time-argument operator ,but I haven't made any real mission ,only ones made by me were for testing my SEXP tricks ,so I don't know if I can make good missions for you. Of course I can do beta testing and bugfixing ,especially because I tweaked missions sometime. I also have don't tend to write anything in polish while FREDing ,so I not make mistakes like leaving cargo labeled in polish ,what happened in your demo.
