Besides here, does anyone know where i can get background quality (ie 1024x768)  space art? renders preferred

If you mean space backgrounds I ran across this guy a while ago - his work 0wns everything I've seen. check it out (http://www.artofgregmartin.com/index2.html)

u can try CNN.COM (http://www.cnn.com) and look for the space related section, they have alot of space pictures. theres always Nasa, and then theres: Space Imaging (http://www.spaceimaging.com/)
this is also where alot of above earth pics can be found.

good lookin out, thats background quality even if it is too small

*edit* nevermind. i just found the vault.  an artist that will put his stuff up full size for general consumption is one i can support.  im getting some maybe all of his stuff

mhgmh... I used on of his pics for my blue arcadia render BG, but I gave proper credit. Well, it's in the thred. Setekh!!!! could you please add credits to the guy in my render section? I'm in no way iontending to make anybody believe I could make anything half as good.
