Guys can you stop the silly redirect, I'm trying to download stuff and its getting beyond frustrating, its meant to be funny not stupid  :rolleyes: , try something that doesnt disable the forums for a day  :wtf:

The same thing happened last year. There is a simple way around it: If you quote the post with the link, the original URL will be visible. The Forum isn't disabled, just...distracted.

well they also have the "your mom" which is fine, we can have a chuckel at it, but to make using the forums a chore is still being silly.

This isn't funny in the slightest. Sure it's slightly amusing but it's not actually funny. :doubt:

I'm not saying that the Admins have no sense of humor - I'm just saying that their sense of humor (and taste in music :ick:) is terrible. :P

It's all broken.  All except for Site Support, and internal forums probably, since they don't use the april fools scripts.  This seems familiar... :doubt:

The funniest part of the whole show is the fallout. Well, and the annoyed reactions of course. Some of them made my day. That said, the jokes themselves could have been more original.

you forget that you have people from multiple countries, in Australia we don't have any of this aprils fools crap (except in school, but thats being kids), so it gets irratating that every year sites bugga around, especially since its april 2nd by the time its activated on most sites, thus making it even less relevant  :doubt:

If you wanna do april fools jokes atleast make sure they dont interrupt the use of the forums, having to play hunt for the origional link just to get PCS2 is irratating, resulting in me going to freespace.net, atleast I could use that site  :nervous:

Is it really that hard to make a joke that doesn't interrupt the forums  :p , Post fake news, change words (as already been done), change the forum theme to something odd, things that u can look at and laugh at, but once you've had the laugh we can still make use of the forums, thats all I'm saying   ;)

That was my point. If they started their April Fools' sh*t a day earlier their time we would get April "Fooled" when its actually April Fools over here.....not a day after when we're recovering from toothpaste on our faces and what-not. I was slightly annoyed when I posted however, it doesn't make a lot of sense for everyone to be April Fools-ed for two days because there are people in GMT 8+ zones

I April Fool's jokes are distracting for non-regular members. I rarely post at HLP nowadays, mainly in the Wiki and the FotGs forum, and I found little fun in reading "your mom" in almost every post.
