hi everyone! i have one question...diaspora supports directx 10? i have seen dhe difference in flight sim. and i have to say it's amzing! thanks
-
No. The FS2Open Engine Diaspora uses utilizes OpenGL almost exclusively. (There used to be DirectX support a few years ago, but there is no one to maintain it ATM, IIRC). Also, since FS2Open is being developed not only for Windows, but also for MacOS and Linux, OpenGL is preferred.

fast answer! and about open gl there is any updated or new verion that incrment the skill of the fs2?

If I understand you correctly, yes, there is an updated verion of the OpenGL standard around that offers capabilities similar to DX10. But the FSOpen engine doesn't use it because 1.) Using all tohse capabilities requires a total rewrite of the engine, 2.) Not everyone around here has the Hardware required to enjoy this.
