Hey, I just want you to know, that I am new here. I just want to tell something about me, so that you know who Imposible Uncorrect is.
So, I love FS 1 and 2, but this should be clear. I love to make some new campaigns for FS but even most of you will love this chapter of FS. I am German, so my English is not perfect but it is understandable. I play a lot of other games than FS, like Rome Total war, Age of Empires and many others.
I played FS since five years so I am not the biggest fan who knows everything. But I'm proud, that I am a fan of a game, who has one of the biggest community's I ever saw.
So, I hope we all get good friends!

:welcome:
Also, if you haven't already done so... be sure to familiarize yourself to the fruits of the community - mainly FS2_Open engine, and the graphical goodies from FreeSpace Upgrade project (and FreeSpace Port, and all the mods, total conversions etc. etc....)
Have fun, and if you get into trouble, post a question and someone will very likely answer it. :)

Hi!
Before someone else tells you- don't listen to me. :D
-
That's only because he has the attention span of a goldfish. ;)
-
No, half the square root of a goldfish. I've been regressing, if you-
...
Where am I?
-
Don't ask me, I can't see you :p
Anyway, welcome to HLP Imposible Uncorrect, I hope your computer can handle all the goodies...
-
Welcome.
Don't be afraid of your English, many HLPers don't speak it as a first language, and the ones that do aren't very good at it :p :nervous:

HEY!!! I'm a native English speaker and I pride myself on spelling and writing as well as possible, even on the internet!

Same. Unfortunately, it's of the same rather true stereotype grain that also houses "90% of American's are complete morons."
-
That's 100% to you. I don't get the chat speak thing, it's not as if everyone's in a super hurry, they just think they are.
-
I'll settle at 99%. I need to have just a little hope for this country. That, and I refuse to believe that I am a complete moron :)!

-
That's actually about 99.99999997 percent as I know several Americans who are not morons. Most of the population of HLP as well.

:welcome:
Exits are to the sides and rear. Standard issue flamethrowers are under the seats. In case of a serious conflict, shotguns and plasma rifles are in the weapon lockers up front, but these can only opened by an Administrator, God, or hyperintelligent shade of blue. Crawling through the air ducts is no longer a danger since Carl is dead. Do not attempt to access the control room as it is guarded by subspatial claymore mines. In the event of a water landing you can and will be used as a flotation device. Learn to love the SCP. Thank you and enjoy your stay.

No offense, redsniper, but that got old a LONG time ago.

Tradition.

Nothing wrong with a throwback to the good old days. It only really fell out of favor when the admins said not to do it so much, but that was because people were going overboard and making the welcome SPEECH more important than the actual welcome.
-
We're officially still good with the welcome beam. Its a neat little tradition and its a little bit funny but it has to be tasteful and not overdone or we'll ask or edit posts that are completely over the top and are disruptive.
Have some humour folks!
Imposible Uncorrect, welcome to the forums. Please enjoy your stay with us!

Liar.
-
Well, Sturgeon's law is often times applicable to pretty much everything, so 90% sounds quite right. :p
(YMMV)
-
That, and I refuse to believe that I am a complete moron :)!
Unfortunately so do most morons.
Besides while you continue to have that ridiculously long signature you put the matter beyond debate. :p
-
Welcome welcome.
I'm the crazy conservative pudding stirrer! I'll be the only voice of reason if I happen to be around. I'm back from a recent hiatus of a couple years.
Don't let these yahoos scare you there too much, they're "mostly" harmless, they just like to yell alot.
Anyway, welcome and enjoy your stay.
-
Thank you all, and I will enjoy the time talking, discussing and Modding with you (or for you?!)

Not to mention self-quoting...

Welcome welcome.
I'm the crazy conservative [...] voice of reason
Anything about that sound weird to anyone else?

Who is everyone and why is he so stupid? :P
Anyway, welcome to the forums Impossible Uncorrect. Try not to let us scare you away. If we happen to come across as lunatics it could very well be because we are. :D
A few rules:
1. Don't be an ass
2. Don't join james777's forum
3. Vote Snuffalupagus
Have a nice day.

Lunatics we may be, but at least we're harmless lunatics.

Well... mostly harmless.

Liar.
No, it's true! All the smart people get killed in the service when they try to save up money for university.

That's Earth in general. :p
