Have you tried extracting the original maps from the .vps? There's this tool called maja (can be found on fsmods.net, IIRC) tha would allow you to do that.
-
Can you PM me your request?
No offense ,but your English seem even worse than my own :) ,and if
you send me this in polish language I can translate it a bit more accurately.
I found your post quite difficult to understand ,and judging from data in profile you're from Poland.
And welcome to HLP ,somebody should post a welcoming beam. :)
(BTW nobody posted welcoming beam for me and I have over 100 posts already).
Back on topic you can extract warp effect from VP file ,then use aniview to decompose animation to frames (if you don't want it animated).
You may use Maya ,but I always done such things with VPView 2.0 and Aniviev ,both available form Turey's SCP installer and Descent Manager tools website.

I must have high resolution image (animation), but file in VP is only low.
So, I try reconstruct space warp in After Effect, but you see what I could :sigh:
You creating new textures do FS ships, planets and more, so maybe you know how make this animation.
-
Sounds like you should be grabbing the warp model and texture from mv_effects or mv_adveffects. Right?
-
I tried use this texture, but it's too low resolution.
Can you tell me how make this warp texture ? And what program you use too create it ?
-
Use the animation from the 3.6.10 MediaVPs (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,58230.0.html) -> specifically the one in MV_Advanced. It's a 1024 res effect.
