Title: SB Nahema <high poly>

Going to be working on a High poly SB Nahema, has anyone done one? doesn't look like it in the mediavp's

<edit> Ok I meant to say Nahema, not Nephilim, but I see that hasn't been done either. This is the base higher poly model, it's about 860 polys and cleaner than the original. I plan to add more details later.

acording to this thread (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,53969.0.html) it's not taken yet.... check it for any other models in the future ^^

While you're at it... you might want to consider making a GVB Sekhmet model variant as well.

Yeah, it looks like it's got a hell of a lot of potential. Looking forward to see what comes out of this. :D

was thinking on adding recesses like this for the glowing parts, or should I make panels dividing the hull?

Look at the HTL Mara. Recesses would look cool.

Yes, but make sure they aren't just random-looking. Like that weird little red square I see there.

I suggest you draw your inspiration from the maps themselves (assuming you haven't done that already).

Yeah. The Mara, Sobek and Myrmidon would really benefit some enhancement. They, I assume, of lower priority to the retail stuff out there.

I don't see what's wrong with the Mara or Sobek, though I do agree that the Myrmidon could use with a bit of touching-up.  Not every model needs to be greebled to hell and back to be considered "high-poly."

Compared to some of the newer material like the Loki, Zeus and Ulysses, the Mara looks more like the author just recessed the areas rather than actually adding any more detail. It does look much better than the retail one but could still use some work.

The Sobek on the other hand is just a more smoothed model with slightly recessed details.
