Paranoia pandemic: Conservative media baselessly blame swine flu outbreak on immigrants
SUMMARY: Conservative media personalities have baselessly blamed Mexican immigrants for spreading swine flu across the border, despite the fact that several reports have indicated that U.S. swine flu patients had recently traveled to Mexico.

BECK: Mexico is in real trouble. What happens to a country that is in that much of an economic dire strait when they say no public events for possibly four weeks? What happens when the economy stops in Mexico because of an emergency in Mexico where no one can spend money? No one can go to a soccer game, a movie, go out to eat, nothing, for four weeks. What happens to that economy? Gee, it would be nice if we had border security now, wouldn't it?
Simply astounding. Dead Mexicans and infected Americans being politicized. But I don't expect anything less from these folks.

Sounds like racism towards Mexicans. Silly thing about this country is so many people complain about immigrants when the true immigrants are the whites.

I'm astounded and puzzled at how these people come up with these ideas. What... Do they think they know more than the CDC? All they say reeks of anti-immigrant fear mongering.
Incompetents at the CDC? Please. How can they tell the CDC is incompetent? What grounds do they have to say this? Are the CDC people incompetent because their findings don't agree with the pundits' racist fantasies? There seems to be no other reason for them to lie like this than to raise anti-immigrant hysteria. I just hope America is smart enough to see through this cowardly facade.

Nah, that sort of "turn back the clock" is closer to paleoconservativism. If you think TIE Fighter was the best space sim ever made and wish new ones would preserve its style of gameplay and cost the same as it did, that's conservativism.
