This is hard to describe, so I've attached a screenshot.
For some reason, the Horus never seems to get quite as dark as anything around it. This screenshot illustrates the effect pretty clearly. This happens using a 3.6.10 trunk build and the 3.6.10 mediavps. This particular screenshot is from the Transcend campaign (using mediavps), but I know I've seen it elsewhere (Procyon Insurgency at the very least).
I think I've seen something similar with certain faces/angles on the GTI Arcadia, but I'm not as sure about that and I don't have a handy screenshot. :)

The image is a fail. I can't open it.
-
Fixed it: try again.

I can't make out the Horus on my screen...it seems fine to me.

Another image, focusing on the Horus (and the Triton behind it):

Looks like that grey might be a product of the engine glow, but that's just my amateur observation. What's your ambient light setting?
-
Here's everything:
-spec -glow -env -mipmap -nomotiondebris -missile_lighting -normal -3dshockwave -cache_bitmaps -ballistic_gauge -ship_choice_3d -weapon_choice_3d -3dwarp -warp_flash -snd_preload -no_emissive_light -ambient_factor 35 -ogl_spec 80 -spec_exp 13 -spec_point 0.7 -spec_static 0.9 -spec_tube 0.8 -fov 0.55
Ambient light is set to 35.
It's just for the Horus (that I've noticed), it seems like it never gets as completely "black" as the other models.

Horus might have a glowmap problem.
-
Looks like the 'black' was actually 5,5,5 in the glowmap. Corrected to 0,0,0 in the SVN (and hence the patch), though I should point out that I can't see squat in either of the screenshots. :p

Looks like it should fix it, in the second screenshot i can make it out. Horus is a dark grey when it should be basically invisible.
