Hi!
I am trying to continue Derelict and Twilight. When I am launching the next mission, FSO freezes when the first "dot" lights up in the loading screen.
I just copied all of the files from computer A to B.
I managed to play the upcoming 2 or 3 missions in Derelict, but then the next doesn't launch (I guess its the one after the one which has the word "osmosis" in its title)

Throw in some fs2_open.log.

Throw in some fs2_open.log.
Well, the only thing what I found after running the debug was that, I hope you meant that:

Uh, no. fs2_open.log. It is in your \freespace2\data\ folder.
-
Oh, I see.
Never thought ot entering the mystical realms of /data.

Searching root pack 'C:\Games\FreeSpace2\INF_Main.vp' ... 1231 files
Also, it would seem that you have no mods active.

WTF? How on Earth?
(BTW I activated Derelict before running debug and what should I do with that rude INF?)

I'd guess that you didn't actually run a debug build, since this log suggests that you were using fred2_open_3_6_10d-20090125_r5053.exe.

Treat it like any other mod: place it in its own subfolder, like \freespace2\inf\ for example. If the problem persists, please try running a fs2_open debug build again and reposting the log after that.
-
Well, I guess that this was an old log since I've already foldered the INF. Here is a screenshot of my FS folder anyway.
And (don't kill me) which is the debug build if not the one with the "d"?

Debug builds are (when talking about the 3.6.10 nightlies) the ones beginning with fs2_open_3_6_10d. While at it, you should get 3.6.10 RC2 (link in my signature) since it is more epic than that old one you have.
It is possible that you're just not doing it right, so
- open the Launcher
- click the Browse button
- select a debug build (select the RC2 debug if/when you downloaded it)
- click Open
- click Apply
- click Run
- play until you try to continue the Derelict and it crashes with great might
- the fs2_open.log should now be replaced with new info. Post the file.

Most surprisingly, it works perfectly with RC2. Thx for the help!
