Playing the Warzone that was included with FSOpen 3.6.10 I came across the GTE Vidar. However the ship looks like a shell and in many parts you can see through the ship. Am I missing files or is there something wrong with the mod?

try redownloading. Your vp is probably corrupted.
-
No good and I don't have a vp for Warzone. I tried redownloading anyways
-
Sounds like a missing/corrupted texture. Make sure you're using the 3.6.10 mediavps, and that you've got the non-corrupted ones.
-
I've also noticed this with the GTBS Archangel mod. But beyond that I haven't had problems.

Where did you download Warzone from? If it is the rerelease it should be in a VP file. Try freespacemods.net

The link from the wiki to FSMods.net brings up a download that isn't a vp. That's where I got it the first time. But thanks that works now.
-
It is a 7zip file. But when you extract it it should be a folder containing a VP file along with a mod.ini file.

Same thing happened to me, I found those textures in the root warzone folder. If you find those textures I think you move them to data/cache.

I got the vp now so I'm all set thanks.

To clarify:
Not to data/cache but to data/maps.
Of coure VP. is a best way to handle this.

Thanks for the headsup dragon. It works in cache, but I'm still a noob with the files, thanks for clarifying.
