I know that the ships.tbl has a limit of 130 entries before it gets wonky. What's the limit for the weapons.tbl?

I'm not sure, but I will tell you this.
There is a point where things get "wonky".
I know cause I had all my Trek Weapons, Robotech Weapons, and other universe weapons (SW,B5, ect) in with NORMAL fs2 weapons and after a while stuff stared acting wierd or not working at all.
It can hold quite a bit though. :)
How many weapons do you REALLY need? :eek2:

Nowheres near 200, that's for sure. I am doing stuff like adding all sorts of weird-arse missiles for "boss fights," and I was wondering how overboard I can go before something bad happens XD

You should be fine up to 200, at which point weapons will stop showing up in-game.

Nope... 200 is the limit for different weapon types. Not the limit for the actual weapon shots in mission.

What's the limit for the weapons.tbl?
Yeah, so 200 in the table, but 350 in any given mission at any particular point in time. Oddly enough the game supports up to 500 beams at the same time :wtf:
