Title: Deus Ex Machina doesn't find a ship

Hi!
I downloaded DEM, and I put the .vp and the readme (that was all) in a folder named DEM.
I launched the game and ignored the fact that it is unable to find one ship. In turned out that it was the destroyer in mission so I quitted, but was still a serious LOL already. :)
Another piece of info what might be udeful: I just added the Technological Superiority campaign's files to the /data folder before.

Any ideas? I wanna laugh! :D

try using a new pilot and check that you have selected it in the campaign room , the chance is that its defaulting to the FS2 game or the last mod you played...;

\freespace2\data\ ? Do you have a lot of stuff there?

Nothing but the original and this (since this isn't in a .vp format). I made a safety copy though of the folder before.
And I already started mission 1 so it noticed the mod.

ok take the stuff out of the data folder that you just put in there , create a folder and in the folder create a data folder, put everything back in there .... select this in your launcher as the mod , run game , does it apperear in campaign room ? try it with a new pilot as well

Deus Ex Machina has neither table files nor model files, so the problem must lie with another mod you installed.

- Rename your \freespace2\data\ folder to \freespace2\data-old\ .
- Create a new \freespace2\data\ folder.
- Copy the Players folder from \data-old\ to \data\ .
- Continue with your life.

If problems persist, please create and post a new fs2_open.log. And learn how to use mods.
