Title: Beam problems

I am having trouble with the using beams in fred2, i have got a mission where a diemos jumps in and attacks 2 rebel cruisers sounds simple but my troubles begin when i load the mission the corvette jumps in but will not open fire!! and the 2 fenris cruisers fire there beams no problem! so i went back in to fred and checked the events they where ok so i changed the fenris cruisers to cains to see what would happen and guess what the corvette fired its beam weapons!! but still refuses to fire on any enemy terran ship so could someone tell me what is going on!

Are you sure you set the Fenris' to hostile?

Yip they where set to hostile and i forgot to say that when i ordered the corvette to attack in the game it would but it would circle the fenris which isn't what i want and when i said i changed the cruisers to cains all i did was double click on them and change them to cains in the ship editor.
