Title: Old Mantis Issues
Post by: portej05 on June 07, 2009, 10:36:59 am
Some of you may have got an email from Mantis recently along the lines of 'closing - old'
If you have, please have a look at the bug and either reopen, or leave it closed.

Anything older than 6 months that is still open in any way is getting looked at.

There have been a lot of changes in the last 6 months, and a lot of bugs may no longer be relevant, please retest before reopening. Please!

This will help keep everybody on track with Mantis!

Apologies if any toes are being trodden on.  :nervous:

I just looked at my open report list and all those are still issues or really need tested thoroughly before closing.  1866 isn't really my report and I have no info on that one.   1890 doesn't need to be private anymore.  That was from before we publicly announced work on Zathras in TBP.

Wait, did you actually go through and mass-close a bunch of old bugs?  That's a no-no, methinks.

Closed:
1808 (Segfault during mission - no-one able to reproduce, and 8 months old)
930 (3.5 year old Assertion in demo campaign)
1846 (case-sensitive error on mac - resolved by chief)

Feedback:
1632 (ambient music doesn't return after fighters warp out)
1022 (game speed issues under linux 3 years ago)
1326 (has duplicate 1514 - resolved)
1933 (I've provided a solution)
1151 (taylor provided a sample build and didn't receive any feedback)
1927 (related to the OpenAL issue that chief posted on)

Bumped:

No mass closing. I've read each bug before doing anything to it.
