I've started upgrading the FRED documentation so that when Diaspora is released it will have proper, full featured help rather than a quick readme and a link to the original FS2 docs. It's slow work but I'm about 90% done with updating the Editors Guide (http://www.fs2downloads.com/freddocs2/editors.html) and I figured I might as well make this stuff public for any other FREDders who want it.
I'm trying to make sure that although my edits are geared towards Diaspora users it isn't done in a way that makes the documentation less useful to other TCs. Feel free to point out any areas that need a larger explanation.
BTW, this is based on FRED 3.6.11 so if your FRED looks different maybe you should take a look in the nightly builds forum. :)

Well done :) So, what is the problem ?
Do you know that people start to fix and update various stuff whenever they want to delay their obligation to do something more profound and important ? Well, sorry, I should fix and update my knowledge of the english language....

No problem. I just figured people might want this now rather than waiting for Diaspora to actually come out. :)

:D
Except that documentation is a vital part of any project release and only a fool thinks that he'll actually save time in the long run by avoiding it. :p

Kind of BSG-ish, right? Are you basing Shattered Armistice on that good old scheme? :)

Seriously, for working on that documentation!

Thanks Karajorma, this makes things allot easier :)

Okay, altered the SEXP documentation (http://www.freespacefaq.com/freddocs2/sexp.html) a bit too. I think I'll add a section covering Variables while I'm at it.

I didn't change that image at all. But yes, that is kinda funny. :D

Shockingly, checking Draw Lines Between Marked Icons draws lines between the marked icons.
ORLY?
-
Don't blame me, that's from the original documentation. :p

Did you include the "U.R.A. Idiot" bit?
-
Nah. That's a nice little Easter egg I wouldn't want to spoil. :D
And it's U.R.A Moron. :)
