The LA coroner's office has taken possession of Michael Jackson's body, after the King of Pop died suddenly this morning, and amid allegations that drug use and overwork contributed to his death.

Jackson, 50, collapsed after suffering a cardiac arrest at his rented mansion in the exclusive Los Angeles neighbourhood of Holmby Hills.
