This Wanderer branch build now just has the shield enhancements, everything else from it is now in trunk.

Update: The VC6 builds seem much more stable right now than VC2008, FRED works and there are no other glaring crashes that I'm aware of at the moment. If you got the one I posted last night, get this new one. Filename is different so you should be able to tell.

shield enhancements?

1 or 2 segment shields, different quadrant strengths, max base recharge limits (so at full you can still throw your shield strength around).

how does that work with the shield HUD?

You would need to provide new shield ANIs with only 2 or 3 frames. I haven't actually tested it with the generated one yet.
