After watching Star Trek 2009 (MY GOSH, THOSE SHIPS LOOKS BEAUTIFUL), I began wondering if anyone actually thought about making a Star Trek campaign... Those torpedos looks just like the long range warhead we got in FS2 and the Phasers looks like AA beams :nervous:

Under construction. Getter Robo G knows more.
-
You can also try to ask Omniscaper, he's working on a Star Trek TC, but now only modpack is available.

Whos that?
Omniscapper? the guy who did the BtRL? Where is it? Game Warden?
-
AFAIK,
Getter Robo G =/= Omniscaper
-
That's correct, but Omniscaper did make a large number of Trek-related models for FS once upon a time; most of them appeared in Getter's efforts.

Anything ever released? I remember promotional videos. . .

How exactly are you going to make an FS mod when Star Trek doesn't really do fighters that often?
-
Large ship battles maybe? Just because you don't see the fighters, doesn't mean that they aren't used. :)

Probably along the lines of this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_Invasion).

Heh, I remember that game. The Typhon was cool as hell. Best mission was the one where you Death Star cored a borg cube.
Still didn't feel anything like Star Trek though.

There was a ST mod hosted on PenguinBomb but that went down ages ago. IIRC Omni hot a bit upset because of the lack of OMGs for the ST conversions, probably because there isn't much in the way of single seaters in the ST universe.

You could probably make do with something like the Delta Flyer from Voyager, or any sort of shuttlecraft in general. Mount a few of the Defiant's pulse phasers on it, or even just a fighter-mounted normal phaser, and you have yourself a ship. It's all probably horribly non-canon, but at least it'd work as far as gameplay goes.

The only canon Star Trek fighter I'm aware of is the Peregrine:

The thing from TNG that wesley (emo) crusher did the star fire thingy manouvre in at the academy?
-
Presumably yes, though the ship class used by the Academy was never named. Peregrine fighters were used extensively in the Dominion War; see DS9: Sacrifice of Angels.
-
Those shots also show them being used by the Maquis. Some shuttles could also serve as fighters, and the Maquis raiders and Fed Runabouts could do as well.
