Title: Framerate bug/issue/thing with contrails

I posted this in the support forum but it hasn't gotten any reply yet, it will only take like 5 minutes of your time to try out and I really really want to know if it's a local pc thing or bug in FSO.

Seeing as this forum gets a bit more traffic and i'm kinda waiting for some kind/any kind of confirmation on this little issue so I can proceed with my campaign etc.

I know you mean well, but cross-posting is against the rules, if for no other reason than it has a nasty habit of tying up people trying to give support in two separate places.  I'm sure someone will be along soon who's able to help you out.
