Title: Multiplayer Feature Suggestion (lobby-related)
Post by: Aardwolf on July 09, 2009, 07:08:07 pm
Would it be feasible to make the game view thing and the chat lobby less 'separate' sort of? I mean, it's kind of annoying that you have to go incommunicado in order to look at the games that are up, or to host a game.

It's been asked for in the past, but it would really be a serious pain to redo all of the code to make that happen.

There will be a new game viewer whenever I have time to code it up though.  It will show games, let you chat in the lobby, let you quickly switch between all of the game daemons, plus a few more little things.  No real ETA on that yet, it will just be done when it's done (or when someone else volunteers to code it ;)).

Nice to hear... at least part of it, anyway.
