ahhhhhhhhhhhhh this is the best game ever jedi knight 2 its so much fun when you have you lightsaber and go into force speedy (everone else slows down so you can still react quickly to your own movement etc) and you enter room and you charge upto the enemy and hes only begingin to turn around as you get to him then swing of your lightsabre and hes down a flip over the top of the falling coorps and thena force push some guy overwhile deflecting laser blasts from anyother then slaughter them all heheh - according to the force speed thing it only last for 5 seconds but caused its slowled down real time you get a long enough - ahhhhhhhhhhhh you acaully geel like your a jedi knight and nothing can stop you

sorry lol just excited this is the best game ever - although i am stuck at the moment =( but just a matter of time before i work out how to get off this god damned platorm in the bowls of bespin.
but trust me you really realy do feel like your a jedi in this one - in dark forces two i never really used the lightsabre much cuse i felt it was clumsy - this time its my fav weapon only time i switch is when dealing with snipers or people using the sniper rifle up close - it cant be defected at least not at my current level

Lightsaber is the only way to go!
I also like that you can turn off the lightsaber, without selecting another weapon.:nod:

Yeah!! I simply must have it. :( :( I have both trailers. The second one rules all! But I can't buy the game on the internet. Oh man when is that cruded PC store here gonna get that game?? :mad2:
By the way, is it possible to play it on: AMD K63 450MHz 128MB RAM and GE-FORCE 256 32 MB DDR RAM?

i got medal of honor and jedi knight and believe em jedi knight is so much more fun when you slow the battle down and go speedy dodly lasers blast deflect some then jumping half a mile and landing behind a storm trooper watching him turn so slowly then spining you sabre and choping the guy to bitsand alwasy fun to steal then enemy weapons hehe one thing the last bad guy is a pain in the ass to kill =( he keeps killing me i almost got him the last timei set up sentry guns giving some distracting fire i launched a drone to add to it meaning he had to keep his sabre in close then i went slow mo switched to heavy style gave a blast of lighting as i closed then started hacking but................
(big breaths lol)
he got me just as i came out of slow mo
i previously tried to steal his lightsabre but not having much luck with that but if i can pull it away from him for just a sec then i should have him

I just got to the Escape from Nar Shadaa level in JK2.
Mulptiplay is good to but can get a little laggy.
Im trying to create some art renders for the game ; like what we did in the FS series. The only thing is that I'm not sure how to pull it off....

By the way, can you really pull the lightsaber from the other dark jedi or sith opponents?

1. Sorry to ruin it for you, but no, you won't have the chance of fighting Vader in the fridge. JKII takes place years after the events of ROTJ and as most people probably remember, Vader DIES at the end of ROTJ
2. Nope, as far as I know, I have never been able to pull lightsabers out of the hands of my opponents.
Of course, don't let that sway you. JKII is one of the greatest FPS games of all time. Seriously.

Actually, no Darth Vader in single player. The games is set 8(?) years After ROTJ, so no Vader.
But you do meet a Force wielding opponent in that room (in SP).
EDIT: [DF]PhyreBoy beat me to it.:o Oh well....

Those lightsaber battles are neat but hard. It's possible for you to get killed in one hit.

Nah I am not really scared. :D I was just sarcastic. I can't wait to confront the evil guys. In Phanot Mennace, the only lightsaber skilled opponent was Darth Maul and in Jedi Outcast, you have such opponents on almost every corner. And the development team said that it will be easy to use the lightsaber but the animations will be complex and interesting. :nod:

i wont say its easy to use the saber well not aginst other with one its great for cutting through troopers though hehe
still love teh force speed and with the sabre you can defeat most people just be wary of those with disruptor sniper rifles they cant be blocked =( and when people fire missiles at you his foce push quickish or you'll die the rocket laucher is insanely powerful and you can force puch grenades and some weaponsfire too
anyway best method in sabre fights is to go slow motion when they throw there blade at you then sidetep it slash them and move out again be warned the bade will be coming back so dont get hit on the backwards flight hehe if taken out mutiple enemys that way
driods are jsut begging to get the sabre thrown at them or and those big ugly walking war driods the easiest way to kill them i discovered is jsu to leave you sabre defensive and not attack with it but run up to them and stab them with it takes a while to kill them withouth using it to attack but they cant hurt you will you got you saber out and not attacking but its abit of a cheat alternatively go slow mo get around behind them and afew slashed of the lightsaber and they are dead
ah well why i am give hints here i have no idea why people never asked for any ohhhh and be wary there are shadow warriors lurking around and its sometimes hard to spot them til they have a lightsaber slicing through you

Game is easy on medium though. Once you get force speed level 2 or 3, i found i could cut a group of 3/4 stormtroopers to pieces before the first one hit the ground.

yup it was fun once i killed about 6 troopers and then as i came out of slow mo i hear thump thump thump and the bodies hit the ground lol well troopers were never going to be a match for a jedi knight were they although the ones with rocket launchers were a pain in the ass at times

why is it in multi-player everyone has a lightsaber? even the non-jedi ones!

I must agree that this game is damn awesome.
Killmenow, the trick on snipers is force seeing, have that at full power and you can dodge incoming projectiles, crazy but true. (it lets you see them come before they hit I believe)
Force speed is sweet, slowing down the world like Max Payne's bullet time while you're going at high speed.
Force push and pull though are fun, just knocking rows of stormtroopers down. Grip is also fun since you can fling someone across the room: Reactor core anyone?
A favorite trick on the Dark Reborn is to choke them, then throw the lightsaber at them while throwing them across the room, deadly combo.
Multiplay on my 56k modem is fine in a lightsaber duel with up to 4 people, in a gunfight 3 people. Higher then that it goes from silky smooth to standard modem jitters.

I'm thinking of getting this as well; not much into Star Wars, but it seems to be a great game regardless of that.
BTW can you be a droid in multiplayer? That would be neat... :D

you could be C3P0 in the first Jedi Knight, so I guess, yeah.
