Mouse will not work in 3.6.10. Tried it in debug mode seems to work fine. Looked thru Launcher for a setting not finding one. Searched forums for problem like mine had no luck why posting now Running Windows Vista with a Logitech G9 Laser Mouse

Are you sure you have turned the mouse support on in the Options menu?
(From the main hall, press F2. Look for a "Mouse on/off" switch)
When you say that it does not work, what do you mean? Does it not work in the menus, or does it not work in-game?
In principle, if it works in debug, it should work just fine with the regular build as well.

Doesnt work in menus at all

Does the mouse work but just not appear? i.e., can you move it around and the menus act like the mouse is there, with doors opening in the main hall when you move it around, but you can't see it? If so, I'm betting a missing or corrupted mouse cursor file. Just a hunch. Because, IIRC, the debug build uses the regular windows mouse cursor, right? I might be off, but it's a shot.

There are two things I want you to try:
1. Start the game with a regular build. When the mouse doesn't work, alt-tab out of the game, then alt-tab back into it.
2. If that doesn't work, see if it makes a difference when you start the game in windowed mode (simply add -window in the Launcher's custom flags field)

Wrong. Debug builds use the exact same mouse cursor graphic as regular builds.

Forgot to ask this, but are you using 3.6.10RC3 (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,63492.0.html)? If not, try that one. Also, try if this build (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,64311.0.html) fixes the issue.

Running latest build yes. Tried the fix you suggested didnt have any luck.

Try shaking it very violently and fast from side to side at the pilot screen that loads first. It may sound crazy but it worked for me after my mouse did not work for me also.
