Found this. (http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_538807.html?menu=news.lates)
Her heartlessness put even me to shame. I've seen and heard cruel but that's astonishingly cold.
Although it proves that: Friends help you move. Real friends help you move bodies.

Ouch!

The woman's lawyer Mike Heiskell said the murder charge is premature.
"I think this is overreaching on the part of the prosecution and the police, and, in the end, I believe the law will shake out that this was simply a case of failure to stop and render aid," he said.
I wonder how much he's getting paid for this...

Some people deserve to be dragged out into the street and shot..
And then theres people like this...

Good grief. Hmm, I can either call 911, or I can let this man die in pain and agony over a period of three days and risk someone finding out and arresting me.
Didn't she get set free? What is the world coming to? :sigh:

"Mallard told police she occasionally went into the garage, apologizing to the victim. The impact had hurled him headfirst through the windshield, his broken legs sticking out onto the hood. "

Seems like the evil of the VBB is seeping out into the world at large... God help us all
-
Not entirely, the evil of the VBB has very little power - it's annoying but can be combatted with common sense and those with power. Real world evil is far worse... the next five years should be very interesting...
-
Hey! I am Evil!:devilidea

Uh huh....well...moving on...
I wasn't real surprised when I read about this. Im sure there are cases simular to this in today's society. I mean, the same thing happened in Scary Movie.

Assuming any of us live to tell about it, yes.

We should reinstitute Hanging, Drawing, and Quartering. If you didn't know, it was a medieval English punishment for treason. The traitor was hung until nearly dead, cut down, cut open, bowels pulled out and burnt in front of them (while still alive) and beheaded, the body is cut into quarters which are placed on display in different parts of the country. The head was typically stuck on a pike on London Bridge.
Just a little English history.
-
I thought drawn and quartered was some torture/killing method where all limbs were roped onto horses and the horses wipped in different directions... according to my Christian friend...
-
and dont forget impaling, stoning, and burnings at the stake.
STEAK FOR DINNER!
-
how about the Judas Cradle and the Wooden Horse? ;7 ;)

You should have read the first post of this when it CNN's website. One wonderful tidbit left out of all the revisions was that our lovely young Texan lady, in between bouts of apologizing, passed some of the time having sex with her boyfriend. That was removed from the story within the first three hours of the posting though.
-
it is....that's the 'drawing' part
hang them by their hands, then draw them, then quarter them.....
quarter includes the disembowlment of the victims

Be optimistic... just because media thrive on the bad news doesn't mean there isn't any good news...

What I find disturbing about that statement is that it implies that the people who absorb the media also thrive on bad news... :(
-
Well, that's because people thrive on bad news, I guess... :(
-
Exactly... :shaking:

its true. when theres are car accident, why is there ALWAYS traffic? because people want to see. And bad things dont really happen that often, so we dont get numbed to it. SO when something does happen, we just have to see it. And that what the media thrives off of. Channel 2 ACTION news.
-
I completely agree there; the bad incidents are rare, which is why they are publicized in the first place. ;)

And that makes me completely mad, because I end up taking a lot more time to get to the place I want because of the stupid sadistic desires of those stupid drivers. Why don't they stay home and watch an action movie? :p
-
but when you get to the acceident, you look too
-
Hell, no! Do you? :wtf:
-
yup, morbid curiosity
-
Then you'll be on my targets list the day I'm finally done with accepting this kind of crap and decide that it's time for some good old lead-induced cleansing... ;)
