Screenies to come, but in the last level of "wonderful end of the world" (megalopolis) what surprise should I find flying at me, but a herc.

I was quite surprised.

Not that we know of, personally I suspect the mesh was 'unofficially borrowed' ;)

Well I went and got the game (well... "borrowed") and...

I can confirm THERE ISN'T ONE HERC II IN THAT GAME!!!!

Spoiler:

There's two in that level! Both can be grabbed. One goes across from side to side, the other goes back and forth diagonally. I can also confirm that it is not the retail model. The ... ... O_o... thing... underneath is too short and too curved. Despite that, they are Herc IIs and even have a squad logo on them in the correct place, but I haven't paid enough attention to said squad logo... I wouldn't be surprised if it were that one person's face, though.

We actually have that in as a homage; it should be close enough for people to recognize, but far enough from the original to avoid copying it outright. :)
