Title: Animation software
Post by: Reprobator on July 16, 2009, 01:44:01 am
Hi all,
I'm looking forward to make my own subspace animation effect (not really subspace anyway but kind of)
I know what i want it looks like, the question is : which software to use to make animation?
If someone here make animations like this, can you indicate me that?

If the software can export each picture of the animation seperated it would be a real + as it'll almost be ready to import as eff animation

Thanks you :)

Depends on what you want to do :blah:

For explosion-like effects, or particle stuff, 3ds MAX is my choice, but if you don't have it I suppose another 3d app could do the job.

I've heard that GIMP can do frame-by-frame animations...

Really, it all depends on what exactly the effect is...
