I'm getting the following error messages when ever I open Fred. I'm running an Geforce GT120 with 190.38 drivers

Reinstall the drivers for your graphics card. Just to check, launch the debug FRED, then post the debug log (data\fs2_open.log) here.

I reinstalled the drivers and am still getting the error.
I included the log from the FSOpen debug and one for Fred Debug
FSOpen sees open GL as 3.1.0 but Fred sees it as 1.1

Jeez, what is it with people and 16 bit color depth lately? Change it to 32 bits in the Launcher, and see if that fixes it.

Requested WGL Video values = R: 8, G: 8, B: 8, depth: 32, double-buffer: 1
Actual WGL Video values = R: 5, G: 6, B: 5, depth: 16, double-buffer: 1
OpenGL Vendor : NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL Renderer : GeForce GT 120/PCI/SSE2
OpenGL Version : 3.1.0
Exact opposite of the other guy (request/actual).
hmmm.
I'd say this one is the desktop at 16bits and the launcher set at 32bits.

Somehow the desktop got set to 16 bit instead of 32 bit. The launcher was at 32 bit. When I set the desktop setting to 32 bit the problem went away. Thanks for the help. Now all I have to figure out is why the desktop went from 32 bit setting to 16 bit.
