HEY I HAVE SOME DOWNLOADS I WANT TO USE BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO PICK IN YOUR OPINION CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME IDEAS WHAT I SHOULD DOWNLOAD FOR FREESPACE 2 SCP THANKS

What exactly do you want to download? FSO itself? Graphical updates? User-made campaigns/mods?

My personal favourites (in order to be played) assuming you've finished the FreeSpace 2 campaign are...

Derelict,
Sync,
Transcend,
Windmills,
Inferno (Someone else can explain the various Inferno episodes :nervous:)
and Blue Planet as an epic finish..


And definitely the JAD series :lol: (also Deus Ex Machina to keep Goober5000 happy :warp: )

Does not! There's just a note with big red letters that Turey's Installer doesn't install FS2.

It appears i have kicked myself in the balls with that one :nod: :lol:

For NJSP 3002s benefit, I stand by my point that there is no almighty list of must have campaigns there though...

Indeed there is not. Because they are just FSO installation instructions. The MediaVPs are included, since it is assumed that most people who want FSO also want shiny graphics. Other mods are a different matter.

On that note, my input on recommended campaigns (in no particular order):
- Derelict
- Blue Planet
- Transcend
- Procyon Insurgency
- Silent Threat: Reborn
- Sync
- the Just Another Day Trilogy

thanks sorry to bother just new at this crap, but the thing is i played freespace 1&2 and then i stop but didnt know about this mods on the game so sorry i dont know much on this sh**.

Well, assuming you have some hard drive space, couldn't you just install the FSO upgrade pack? (Stickied thread at the top of this board)
