Title: GenCon 2009 in Indy - August 12-15ish

Ok I just know when I'm getting there, not when it's over, but I'm going.  I'm taking Carl the Shivan, a bunch of nerdy sons of *****es from my college, and if anyone else from HLP is gonna be there this year you DAMN WELL BETTER LET ME KNOW BEFORE HAND THIS TIME.  Seriously, I think this is ample notice.  If you happen to live in Indy, let me know.  At least half the group I'm going with has played Freespace before and one is the guy who introduced me to HLP.

It's a big tabletop gaming convention in Indianapolis.  Started by Gary Gygax I believe.  Last  year was awesome because it was the first one since his death so there were all these crazy memorials and stuff, and a giant D20 in the opening lobby.

Looking forward to seeing the new offerings from WhiteWolf/CCP and Fantasy Flight - oh, and the BattleTech FireStorm VR stations  :D

I'll see if I can get Chief to post pics with his new camera.  Btw, Chief, you never told me exactly what you picked up.  An SLR?

And yes, you should probably get a ban for that.  Or a commendation, not sure yet.  Depends on who you ask.

I also just got a laptop so posting pics during the event should not be a problem, assuming I make it back to my room at some point.  May go for all nighters this year, who knows.

No Nullus. . No ban. You might get a high 5 for assisting the scp and other stuff.
