use fs2open 3.6.10 http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,64520.0.html
-
use fs2open 3.6.10
3.6.10 is included in Zathras...
just change the .exe you are using in the launcher... "fs2_open_3_6_10_INF.exe" should do the trick

Nop, didn't work. Also, I just DLed it yesterday (the day I posted).
-
does this happen in any particular mission? Or at game start?
-
Doesn't the presence of '3.6.9' in those logs suggest you still have a 3.6.9 build selected in the launcher?
-
Indeed it does. This is an error that only happens when you use data intended for 3.6.10 or later with 3.6.9. Using 3.6.10 usually fixes it completely. If it doesn't, select a debug build, run it, then post the fs2_open.log file from your data\ directory here.
-
I just downloaded the DVD build off the front page of TBP homepage.
Also, it happens on game start, without zarthas everything runs fine.
Something like this happens with my normal freespace2 as well.

Hi everyone
Sorry for me bad English. I am from Austria
I am new with this game but i had also this Error after i installed Zathras. I changed the .exe in the launcher...to "fs2_open_3_6_10_INF.exe".
But on my Desktopicon i must change the Path the to fs2_open_3_6_INF.exe too manually
-
Errm. Why do you have a shortcut to the game build? Having a shortcut to the Launcher is so much better...
