Title: Comprehendable UVMapping tutorial?

Is there a tutorial in existance that simply explains how to UVMap in either TS or MAX or UVMapper? I have a lot of fighters to map and Wildlife can UWMap them all for me so I need some help :nod: so if someone can make a tutorial or lead me to one it would be greatly appreciated :nod:

UVMap - I never really learned what this was, can you sum it up simply?

UVMapping- the process of texturing a model using maps that can be edited in a paint program to add extra detail. Commonly used on fighters and smaller craft to add immense detail. A map is generally assigned to each of the views (ie. top, side, back, fron ect...), but sometimes a map can include all the sides of a fighter, thus making it a multi-map.

If you're using MAX there's a good tutorial on the "Lerning MAX" section about it.

Erm, u mean Wildlife can't UVMap them all, otherwise i'm leaving :p ;)

This (or one of these tutorials) is what I learnt mapping with MAX from, although I still need practice :).
