I was wandering if it was possible to set things up so SEXPs can be used to set the hull and possibly shield strength of a given ship at the beginning/during a mission.
possible uses
1. you have a assault or defense mission and to help fine tune mission balance you want to be able to set the hull strength depending on difficulty level, e.g. an assault mission and the designer wants to set a target destroyers hull to 80% on a hard difficulty but 60% on easy difficulty
2. can be used to simulate events that cause player or other ship's hull integrity to change during the mission
3. set player or other ships hull to a random amount (for example using the rand option) at the start of the mission (this is the reason i am asking for)

set-subsystem-strength not good enough for you?

Sorry, dont know how but i missed the hull options in there, admittedly i wasn't expecting to find hull in there, thanks though
