A facepalm flash animation?

I don't think it's quite epic win...I mean, can you really self-declare epic win?

1.  Most over-used piece of dramatic music ever written.
2.  I want that sixty seconds of my life back.  Now.

Still nowhere near as overused as Requiem of a Dream.

All efforts to intentionally generate epic win are fail by default.

You've defaulted.

Didn't anyone ever tell you default settings are bad for security?

babylon 5 much?

As I look at you, Ambassador Mollari, I see a great hand reaching out of the stars. The hand is your hand. And I hear sounds. The sounds of billions of hands palming your face

Never seen Babylon 5, but that last sentence fulfills my definition of epic win :wakka:

I felt this constituted as "epic win:"

http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=65819.0

Note the process involved in the epic win (the law of epic win):

- Epic win, if unproven as such, must not be given as a constant. (declaration of epic win)
Should you produce a work which has epic win potential, the work must be capable of being examined, and upon examination, found to be epic under a circumstance (or variety circumstances) to the respective examiners. In short, a condition yielding epic win must be capable of being reproduced/analyzed and thus demonstrating to some extent the results of the original epic win. This lies in the fact that your epic win may in fact be a ruse and thus an epic failure.

- Epic win must be arrived at by the individual observing the epic win. (types of epic win)
In this scenario, two conditions are possible: (a.) 'epic win' is a variable, and can only truly be an epic win on an individual basis. This is the most common occurance of an epic win. (b.) 'epic win' is a constant. It is, and forever shall be, an epic win regardless of debate. Should you fail to recognize this factor, you are guilty of EPIC FAIL. The condition of constant epic win is indeed rare, and only few examples are present. For example, the creation of the universe, Bruce Lee, kicking hostile diplomats into abyss-like pits, space flight, etc.

- Epic win, if truly epic, needs no announcement as to being epic. (constant of epic win)
Genuine epic win never boasts itself as being constant - all those subject to its radiant glory do that for it. Example: FreeSpace 2

Battuta, did I fail to mention that I did not make that flash, therefore I am not praising myself?

Yeah, you did. You never once stated that you had not made the flash.

Yes. Plus, it is on your website!

However, the declaration of epic win is more fair if you are not the creator. However

IT HATH BEEN VETOED

You know what Sigtau, i liked the .swf as a (i'm guessing) first, if not third or fourth foray into flash animation. Give me the source .FLA and i'll add some tweaks.
