I was doing some digging (don't know how I missed it in the first place, but nevermind) and ran across this model.

and a thread to go with it:HLP Thread "For Sale" (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,6426.0.html) My question: has anyone completed this model? (Turrets and LODs?) If not, I may be able to glue up a beta version pretty quickly. Would anyone be interested?

That's what I thought, but he can't turret (or at least not well). I think the pic above was of LtNarol's version.
Anyway, I finished turreting it and all; here is a pic (I am looking into actual FTP space sometime next week, so bear with me). I made it a battleship, destroyer size or larger, but with no hangers. A main fleet weapon, if you will. It has 12 main cannons, 7 large (long range/heavy) flak guns, six turreted missile launchers, and 14 small turrets (AAAf or turret laser; I haven't decided). The model is converted, but not tested.

Correctico! we need a turreter and if you read the last few posts, we were getting kinda desperate. If you can turret the blasted thing, i can do a bit of touch-up painting on the turrets and then convert it and the model will be ready for release.

Because white makes a smaller filesize.

Turreting requires Truespace 2 or later and the Freespace 2 Ship Creation Guide (Search google for it, I can't ever remember where it is) to explain the heirarchy. For thruster effects, you simply specify a thruster coordinate and vector in a pof editor, like the pof constructor suite. You will find FRED2 and waypoints very helpful for that.

well, StratComm was turreting it but didnt realize the thing had a hangar, its that yellow thingy. :D Thanks StratComm

That model is public anyway, so you can download it yourself. If you want my version, it will be up in a few days, if I can get some web hosting. And it does have hangers.

Can someone PLZ make me a huge version of the Raynor for my mission mybe campaign? (BIGGER then the Colossus, something that could match a Sathanas, thinkin lots o beams [BFgreens & Terslashes] and big as a Sathanas :jaw: ) :D :D :D
