I got this e-mail in one of my 2 hotmail accounts.

Yeah, judging by the misspellings present, I'd say so as well.

I would check the e-mail header for the routing info.

You are on the bcc part. And as you can see, the mail addresses are bogus.

That's not the real header info. The real one is defined here: http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5322 and contains several other pieces of information that can be used to identify a sender.

And yeah. If the real hotmail team uses addresses like this, it's no wonder gmail is the success it is....

I loathe that you can show data other than actual addresses in the 'from' field in e-mail.  :ick:
