Title: Angel Moon artwork
Post by: Pyro MX on November 07, 2009, 10:38:50 pm: Wow, it's been a while since I ever posted a planet wallpaper on HLP! First one in a couple of years, maybe :P . Anyway, this is the angel moon. It doesn't look exactly like in the game, as you'll probably notice. Who knows? Maybe you'll have this view when piloting your craft!

In your concept, the color makes me think a little more to Kharak, but anyway.

To me, it looks more like it's WTFPWNED in HW2, than colonized.

Post by: Pyro MX on November 08, 2009, 10:59:45 am: I've made the moon look like a bit more like the one in HWC - I have a version which looks a bit like the one in HW2, but it ain't very pretty hehe! As for the in-game one, you wouldn't believe how ugly the skybox is at the moment (really, development version at its best). I'll show some when I'm at least finished with the planets and bg effects :P .

Post by: Stormkeeper on November 08, 2009, 09:58:28 pm: I've always like the HW2 Angel Moon. It's supposed to hold a big spot in Hiigaran history, so it didn't make sense to me for it to be just plain grey a la HW1.
