Title: Freespace One Intro cinematic
Post by: deathfun on November 20, 2009, 03:04:37 pm
I've got the .mp3 for this file about a year ago, but I've just now thought about taking out the voice to leave just the music

However, I've been unsuccessful in doing so. Anyone know how or are willing to extract the voices?

No need for that, actually, since I happen to already have just that.  I don't really remember where I snagged it from, but it was a lucky find regardless.  Here's (http://www.mydatabus.com/public/Top_Gun/fs_intro.mp3) a link.

Heh, that kinda... doesn't make sense without text and imagery...

Where'd you find that?

Also, I don't remember the end being quite like that...

As I said just above, I don't know. :p Possibly the old Descent Network site.

I get the feeling the file creator might have looped back to the beginning, whether intentionally or accidentally.

I actually liked it returning to the beginning and then trailing off like that

It does restarted itself in the intro cinematic, so the music is correct.  I just wish it wouldn't glitch when it happens on my iPod.
