With all the talk in the newspapers and on the T.V. about how the worlds knee deep in the brown stuff i've decided to move focus away from it all, with a thread about sheds!!

i don't have a shack, but i'm listening to sir david attenborough's soothing voide

we Canadians already had rick mercer find our best shed, pity he kind of of beat you to it, but i suppose there are more than Canadians here, so let's play along.
sheds are cool, i has a basic one back home, it's nice, keep pool stuff in it, bikes.
i roofed it last summer, which was fun
maybe i'll post a pic, dunno...

We've got a brick shed at my dad's house.

One has to question the wisdom of building a palace/bunker/whatever upon that location.

This thread is strictly about sheds and shed related topics. That has nothing to do with sheds. OFF TO THE SHED OF DESPEAR FOR YOU!!!

For some reason it reminds me of All Ghillied Up from CoD4.
Nice photo anyway.
-
That's not a shed, that's a chicken coop or maybe a pigsty.

That's just sad...

Given the choice, would you go for a metal pre-fab shed or a wooden affair?

That's just hysterical.

Keep it on topic or don't post at all guys. Mccall, i'd much prefer a wooden self-assembled affair every time. Not only you get the satisfaction and experience and growth of putting it together myself. But you can paint it whatever (manly) colour you choose to boot. I like the idea of having a permanent refuge that I can fill with old half empty tins of paint and glass jars of assorted screws and nails.
Man-space.
I may well post a link to my ideal shed, but as this is such an important decision, I can't take it lightly and need to research the mainstream sites like b&q and homebase etc.
