Title: Cannot See SC Cain in Techroom animation and in forced entry

I keep getting this problem. I noticed it first when playing the forced entry mission when the sc cain warps in just after Labourche. You can't see the SC Cain. Then i noticed that when you check the Techroom animations the SC Cain is the only ship that doesn't appear. Other than that i must say ---- I LOVED THIS MOD MAN SERIOUSLY !!!!!! My computer crashed and i lost all the mods i downloaded and this was the first one i went for when i repaired it.

Can't wait for WIH (love the UEF ships) but the UEF ships are only limited to those models listed on your website, maybe you could increase them. Because since Sol was the hub of manufacturing before the collapse of the node wouldn't they have a wider range of ships available?

There will be more ships than there are currently on the website as far as I know.

This didn't made it to them mod, it was just a practice for Darius.
It would have killed FPS on most computers anyway, and it was nearly impossible to edit in PCS2.

The only thing I can think of regarding missing Cain textures is a lack of MediaVPs. Have you got them on your computer, Osiris?

Does the Cain show up in any other campaign? Submit a debug log so people who know how can see.

Run a debug build, then check your freespace folder for the debug log.

The only thing I can think of regarding missing Cain textures is a lack of MediaVPs. Have you got them on your computer, Osiris?

I downloaded the mediavps (mv_core,mv_assets, mv_effects, mv_advanced, mv_music, 3610 patch) into one folder called mediavp on (c:\Games\Freespace2\mediavp).

The blue planet mod is in a folder called mods (c:\Games\Freespace2\mods).

Try renaming your MediaVPs folder to from mediavp to mediavps (with an s).

Has anyone tried playing this mod on a real high end machine (alienware laptops etc..)- it must be AN EXPERIENCE...i 'm thinking of getting a Dell XPS M17.

The HP dv7 I have plays this with the decked-out features with no problems.

I'm gonna try it this weekend on my GeForce 9800GT and a new, 1920x1080-capable monitor :D The FS2 campaign already works like a charm, time for a bigger challenge.
