Title: Unable to record FSO footage

I am trying to record some gameplay footage of FSO but it only records the desktop. I tried multiple programs (Hypercam 2, Camtasia Recorder) but none of them worked effectively, and if I recall correctly, even Fraps wasn't useful. Honestly, I'd like to use Camtasia since then I'd be able to record voice too, something that is impossible with Fraps.
The programs are operating finely, I already made a ton of footage about other games.

Any ideas?

Use GameCam 1.x.  Don't use the 2.x versions as they're rather bloated.

Does it record voice from microphone?

The full version does.  But regardless, you can mix a voice track into a video using any half-decent video editing program.

Fraps works fine for me. With external audio like winamp and the like running, no issues at all.

Try Debut Video Capture set to mp4 quality video.
Mic and the rest of that can be set up in the options.

It's free, it works.
