The mod (Ghosts of Valor) I've been working will be ready in another week or 2. How do you post files on the internet and what website this mod be on. (I've never done this before)
-
If you had your own webspace, you'd use an FTP client to upload the files there.
If you want to use a hosting service (Megaupload, Rapidshare, Mediafire...), they probably describe the procedure on the site (even though it should be pretty logical once you get to that point).
If the campaign will be ready-ready (no beta testings 'n stuff), there's always FreeSpaceMods.net.

Use Mediafire.

It's the best upload service I've used so far.
Rapidshare is a piece of crap, Megaupload is better, but not much.
And don't even mention the name "fileplanet", it's one of the worst servers and anything uploaded there should be mirrored immidiately.
FreeSpace Mods is a good place for releasing mods, but it had some problems recently.

Do you have hotmail?
I've got what amounts to 25GB of storage over my hotmail account, though I'll probably never use over a fifth of that space. Free courtesy of Microsoft. Who would have thought? :p
Regardless, I've used it to share certain bits of information with people that I'd have otherwise needed to use a hosting service for. Pretty much as hassle-free as you can get...

Unfortunately the uploads are disabled on freespacemods.net. They may get fixed over the holidays.
